Basic Life Support

In the period from October 2015 to date, MSC has conducted four training of persons employed in health centers or the emergency medical aid (ER), doctors-specialists from the Medical Faculty at Ss. .” Cyril and Methodius”. The Medical simulation center has originally organized and conducted training of “Basic Life Support” module. 

The training was conducted in the period from 16th of November 2015 to 11th of December 2015 at the MSC and the MSC dispersed units represented in six cities:

  • Veles
  • Strumica
  • Shtip
  • Prilep
  • Ohrid
  • Tetovo

Target group of the training were employed in the services of emergency medical care (ER) throughout the country.

The training was aimed for the listeners to acquire or renew the basic knowledge of emergency care through theoretical and practical lectures for the “Basic Life Support” module.

The training was aimed for the listeners to acquire or renew the basic knowledge of emergency care through theoretical and practical lectures for the “Basic Life Support” module. Of the total number of potential listeners whose number was 1078 persons, the module “Basic Life Support”, 1034 people employed in services for emergency medical assistance participated at this training. Thus, the success rate is over 96 percent, which meet all the parameters for successful training.
