Program established by the United Kingdom Resuscitation Council in 1993 (UNITED KINGDOM RESUSCITATION COUNCIL). It is a standardized course on evidence-based resuscitation recommendations (Evidence-based medicine) intended for medical professionals.
It was initially a national program of the United Kingdom, but today it is supported by the The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC). Annually, about 1,000 such courses are held, training about 20,000 professionals around the world, and more than 20 courses-modules of this type have been performed in MSC so far.
